That happened to us in Aug 02 on RCCL's Explorer...it rained in every port. We still had an awesome time. Just go with the flow. (hint - book early morning excursions, so that if it is raining, they can be postponed a few hours when it clears. We had clear mornings, and rainy afternoons, so we were thru with our excursions before the gloomy weather hit.)

It certainly appears that the forecast is getting worse for Cozumel. 50% chance of rain now for next weekend. The good thing is that it's a week away and we all know how the weather can change. I'm really hoping to be able to spend soem time on the beach there.

I just got back last night from a week in Cancun, and it did rain for two days, most of the day (so we went shopping, of course). The rest of the time, it was cloudy in the morning, and partly sunny for the afternoon, so not as good a tan as i wanted. Still had fun...was there over Cinco de Mayo, which, as we found out, is a much bigger celebration in the US than in Mexico! Sept. 16 is their big day. Expect clouds and some rain, but also expect a good time!!
Don't let it stop you! We ran out into the rain, shopped and went tot he beach. Please don't let that ruin anything, you can still do just about everything you want. It rained in Cozumel all morning on us Monday. We still had a blast.
Cincyrick - last Monday it was pouring in Cancun, too, so that's the day we went shopping at La Isla mall. Great shopping mall! Went from the cheap (T-shirt shops) to the ultra (Cartier). Guess where we spent the most?? Not at Cartier!
