Jenn: We are looking at going on the Sensation after the relocation to New Orleans. Please come back on the board and write a nice long post about the ship. We are excited to hear. Have a great cruise.
Last time I was on Sensation it was guy named, Chris. Probably in his late 30's, slighlty bald and really humorous. He was really great. My first cruise was a husband and wife team-it was horrible. On the fifth day I was so sick of hearing the voices around every corner. I actually avoided events they attended.
I called Carnival to find out if Chris was still the director on Sensation for our sailing in September. They said they had no way of telling me. My uncle just went on Sensation last month and could not recall who the director was however, George the Greek was still the maitre d. He was also great!
The cruise director's name is Jorge, and if your going 2 Coxumel, you need to call him Horhay. He uses the same old carnival jokes, but if this is your first cruise he's great. He does also use original jokes and is quite the person to watch, he makes everything fun. Im almost positive he'll be on there because I got off on June 12th. Dont worry about him, just relax and have fun!! Oh, and George the Greek is STILL the Maitre D. Opa! Oh, and I forgot to tell you that rebecca is the back-up social host
Just got home yesterday, from the Sensation,. Our cruise director was Rebecca, a real cute gal from Canada. She was fun and very informative. Whoever is yours, I know you will have a grat time. I DID! OOMPA!
So there is not a regular cruise director for the Sensation?
We sailed on the Conquest last Nov and had Corey Schmidt......he was great, but has since retired to Lake Tahoe to do his bird show there.....CARNIVALS loss.
Hope our Sensation trip in November has a good director, they make the cruise so much more interesting and comical.
