I see people on here from time to time who visit this establishment. Is it a safe place to eat in Mexico?? You hear about not eating the food there, so just wondering. sounds like a fun place. My daughter and I did eat at the Hard rock Cafe in Cozemel in 2002. Neither of us got sick. Fellow cruisers??

Most places in Coz have safe food. I wouldn/t eat at C&C's [altho I have] only because there are places with better food. But C&C's is a great place to party hardy. Watching the C&C's patrons reboard at the last minute is some of the best entertainment in the Carib. On some cruises I've watched the reboarding and on some I was one of the revelers being watched. Its easier to recover from the watching.
Carlos and Charlies is near the pier in town. It is expensive to eat or drink there, but I do it just because I like the party atmosphere. I have never heard of anyone getting sick from eating in Cozumel.

Did not mean to infer that C&C's food was not good, it is. But thats not what they are all about and there are many places that have excellent food but not the party atmosphere.
I like eating somewhere else and partying at Carlos&Charlie's for a broader experience.
But there is nothingt wrong with eating at C&C's either.

Just got back from cruise last week and we ate at C & C's in Cozumel. There are signs up that state everything is cooked and washed with treated water. I was worried about the same thing so I paid extra attention to that. Our food was fine, no sickness from any of us. Very fun place to play. We sat at the table under the skeleton that didn't pay his $1.50 bill!!!!!!!! Have fun.
Been traveling to Cozumel for over 20 years, NEVER have I been sick from eating there.
If the ship docks at the SOUTH cruise ship pier, walk about four blocks and eat at ERNESTO's! GREAT food wifh local atmosphere.
If you want to try a super special treat for dinner, there is a place way back in town (ignore the cruise line's warnings that it isn't safe there, it IS very safe).
Get a cabbie to take you to Casa Mission. It is back about 12 blocks into the REAL San Miguel, in a beautiful garden atmosphere, with wild animals (they even have LIONS!) and parrots, and the food is FANTASTIC!
Dinner and drinks run about $25 bucks a head, which isn't bad, and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
