Default Airport??

This may be a really stupid question, but what is the closet airport to Port Canaveral??? We are booked on the Fantasy 10/31/04 and just recently changed are plans from driving to flying. (It took me forever to talk Scott into going on a plane)

I don't know if it's the closest, but when we went on the Fantasy in 2000 we flew into Orlando. But that was also because we were doing the Seaworld - Universal thing after the cruise so we rented a car at the airport.

The Fantasy was our first cruise and we loved it. Have a great time.

Orlando is a hour from port Canaveral. We have been there once on Disney, we just took the transfer from the cruise line. It went by pretty quick, plus we got to watch a video about the ship. Much cheaper to fly into Orlando

Orlando is the closest to the port. About 45 minutes to an hour.

Actually, Melbourne is only about 34 miles away south on A1A compared to Orlando at about 55 miles on the Bee Line Expressway, but it is much cheaper to fly into Orlando. When I lived in Cocoa Beach in the 60's, it took us the same amount of time to visit each city.
