Default Glory or Miracle?

We're going on a group cruise next fall on either Glory or Miracle. We've done
both itineraries (Eastern and Western). Does anyone have any thoughts
on which ship is better? Have you been on both?

I'm sure you'll enjoy either ship as long as you board with the right attitude (not too demanding, not too picky, etc.). The Glory is 110,000 gross tons vs. 88,000 for the Miracle, if I recall correctly. If you think bigger is better, sounds like the Glory. If you prefer smaller, go with Mircacle, though I doubt you could call it more "intimate" than the Glory. I haven't been on the Glory (or Miracle) before but I took my family on the Conquest -- the sister ship of the Glory -- back in 11/02. Absolutely fine ship. I expect same from the Glory. Lotsa stuff and plenty to do and eat. Don't look to be pampered. If you're just looking for relaxation or fun, you'll be pleased enough.

Tks for your thoughts..no we'll not be too picky. As I said this is
a group, and we do it as a fundraiser, and I have to say Carnival
is very generous. We'll have fun as we're going with friends.

For my husband and myself our favorite is Celebrity.

We loved the Glory - no complaints at all - and the food and entertainment were great. Whatever you choose have a wonderful trip! TTFN Jennifer

Glory is awesome and I prefer the facilities at Port Canaveral to Tampa. Although, another member pointed out the sail-away from Tampa is more spectacular and I'd have to agree with that.

That would be a hard decision. Both ships are suppose to be similar. I've never sailed on the Glory, but seen her from the outside. She is a lovely ship. I'm sailing on the Miracle in Nov. It is very exciting to be on the first new ship out of Tampa.

I've also cruised to the Western and the Eastern Caribbean, both are beautiful areas.

decisions, decisions......................................... ....

If you come in a few days early there is Busch Gardens in Tampa.
