I was just on the Glory last week. They do have a midnight buffet, at 12:00am, but they served mostly desserts, finger foods, and fruit. Right next to the buffet offering, though, are The Grille (Pizza, burgers, etc.) and The Pizzeria.

However on the second last night they had the Gala Buffet -- a much more substantial offering which included the ice sculptures, chocolate carvings, etc.

I love going to see the midnight buffets to see what the designs are and the artwork is great. I also take pictures fo the buffet. What i really like was the chocolate extravaganza on Holland ships. Being a chocoholic you cant resist them. MMMMMMMMMgood........

Midnight buffet on Carnival is practically nonexistent. No comparison to the great nightly spreads on Holland America.

Am I the only one to see the humor in the question "What time is the midnight buffet?". It sounds like one of those things that the cruise director says the passengers ask. Like, "I'm in my cabin, one door is the bathroom the other has a do not disturb sign on it, how do I get out?"

i am so embarrased! i just went back and read my original post. what i meant to ask was "what types of items are on it" not what time is it? sorry for the confusion. and yes, jocko what i did write is humurous!...lol

I'm with you Jocko. I spit my coffee out when I read your response. Hopefully none of these "serious" people will be with me in 3 days on the Miracle.

In the meantime, can someone tell me how to get to the White House? I'm in Washington and all I can see is signs for Seattle.

Good one Mike. No need to be embarrased Shane it happens to all of us. As far as items goes, I didn't really make it to many buffets, one night I did snag some cheesecake at the back of the ship though.

OK all you smarty pants, lol! I thought that I recalled something strange about the timing of our Gala Midnight buffet from our Sensation cruise in January, so I went back to the Capers and looked. Well guess what time our Midnight Buffet was...12:30 -1:30 a.m. They did allow you in for picture taking at 11:30, but the buffet was not officially open until 12:30. I hope the original poster feels a bit vindicated now. It was humorous though.
