Excursions in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas

Hello! I am taking a cruise with my family on June 19 on the Carnival Pride to the Mexican Riviera. I was wondering if anyone who has been to Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas can tell me what the best shore excursions available are? We aren't really interested in anything with sail boats or horses but any other suggestion would be great! the Carnival website isn't too helpful...

We like to take the main city tours and enjoyed the one in Puerto Vallarta a few years ago. Mazatlan, we did the Sierra Madre tour, long but it included a great lunch. I have also parasailed in Mazatlan. In Cabo, we use to just enjoy the beach but our last time in Cabo we did the whole city tour; glass blowing factory, cactus gardens, a resort stop for a free drink, etc. It was a great way to see Cabo. Have a great time whatever you choose.
