I am in the process of deciding between Carnival and Royal Caribbean for a holiday cruise (week before Christmas). I'm looking for value but mainly at what will appeal to my children ranging in ages from 15, 10 to 5 years old. Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated- thank you!
I wish I could be of help about Royal Caribbean but have never sailed them. Would I like try them? Yes. But Carnival has always been so good for and to us we see no need to try anything else yet. We did how ever just sail on the Victory this past May. Next to the Glory it has become my second favorite ship. Maybe we donít expect as much as some of the reviews that I have read. But we found the ship to be well kept. Food, service, staff, entertainment was all a four plus stars. I would not give any ship (I donít think I would) a five star because there is always some little bitty thing that may not be right. Anyway we would sail her again. But next May we are going back on the Glory.
You do get a lot for the money on Carnival. I hope they keep it up.
