CAN YOU BRING YOUR OWN 4 CUP COFFEE POT ON THE CRUISE SHIP? WE LIKE COFFEE AS SOON AS WE WAKE UP IN THE MORNING. AND CAN'T WAIT FOR A WAITER TO BRING COFFEE TO US.
Just place your order the night before, tell them what time you want the coffee and let the water wake you up with the hot coffee. That's what we did a few times and it worked perfectly!!
I've read where others have done this but IMHO it is just something extra to pack. If you fill out your room service request the night before, room service will deliver a pot of coffee any time you request. It's is free but customary to tip. We love to have our coffee first thing in the morning too!

Must be because we alway finish a pot in the morning. I like Carnival's coffee (not sure or brand) much better than RCI Seattle's Best. If you need lots of cream, make a note on the slip or order a milk to keep on hand.

Carnivals coffee is the best on a cruise ship, they always have a coffee station open 24 hours a day. Or room service will bring it to you anytime, we always set out a request the night before and hang it on our door-works as a double wake up call
That is the only thing I do not like is the coffee, and yes we just brought our own coffee pot and it worked out great.
Their always has to be one in the crowd and this time its me.

My husband has to have coffee. We had it delivered to the room, had it on deck, and some or most of the bars had it. Don't weight yourself down by bringing your own pot.
Not to mention Carnival's not exactly overflowing with outlets in their staterooms either. Between schlepping the actual coffeemaker, filters, coffee, etc, save yourself the headache and get it from room service. And Carnival was one of the first lines to brew individual pots, not the dreck from syrup.
We took a coffee pot on our cruise last year. We bought one at a garage sale. We pre-measured our coffee and had fresh coffee each morning. Much better than what the ship serves! Then we left the pot on the ship. We had extra room in our luggage for our purchases since we had no pot or coffee taking up that room! It was GREAT.
Oh thank goodness I ran across this tip! I love coffee so much I have been worried ever since I saw a review about cruise line coffees in my local paper - they were not so good, according to the article. I'll be ordering the night before, great idea. But hey, I think a certain amount of creamer can go a long way in making it drinkable for me.
I am an early bird and always walk to the drink island and have hot coffee first thing in the morning. I have had people tell me that they enjoyed a pot of coffee in their cabin. My family is still sleeping when I creep quietly out the door. That way I start my breakfast early, and they can sleep until they get ready to get up.
Lindee....Using all caps is the equivelant of screaming on a message board. Would you ming taking off your caps lock.
Anyway, if you want your own coffee pot, I would call the cruise line directly and ask if you can bring it. The answer might be no die to the fire danger of having your own coffee pot in your room.
I would definately leave it at home as this would be considered a fire hazard. You can have coffee delivered to your cabin at a preset time or order it from room service as soon as you wake up. Less to pack and less to do in the Am and certainly less of a fire hazard!
