Carnival rep. just told me that they would decide on replacement for Cozumel today or tomorrow. Possible sites: Costa Maya, progresso, Veracruz. So those of you on cruises in the next couple of weeks, need to get on the internet and check out these three places. Then when Carnival makes the anouncment, you won't be caught off guard. DO NOT wait on carnival to e-mail you, or call, keep in touch here, or check the Carnival web site.

Interesting - I called Carnival a little while ago and was told there were no changes to my itinerary. I leave 11/3 in Imagination for Key West & Cozumel! The woman there said there have been NO changes to any itineraries. I said I had seen changes on the CC website for Carnival sailings this week - she said they must have made it up!
Any info you can provide here would be most appreciated.
This is a case of getting someone on the phone who has no clue. Already we know that there are no ships going to Coz. What you need to do is stand by. I also need to know, so I will keep checking and will advise soon.
Just received an e-mail for a friend on the Victory. There were supposed to go western (cozumel) but DID get switched to eastern (San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten). So yes, there are itinerary changes.

I did go the the mentioned website and it does state that they are hoping to have cruise ship passengers tendered in starting 11/14
I called Them three times, got three differant replies. Last one yesterday "here you don't sail till Dec., 4th allot can change and you will likly not know till 24 hrs before as to where you are going." DA. get out from under a rock. I walk by casinos but would bet from pictures it would not be Coz. I know allot has to be worked out but give better reply than that.!
The response I got yesterday was just so ridiculous, all I could do was shake my head and laugh!
I called them again today, and was told that no decisions had been made yet as to my 11/3 itinerary. She said they just finished making decisions on this weekend's sailings, so suggested I call back Sat or Sun. Now THAT was the right answer.
