Default Miracle or Valor

Hubby and I are lookin to go on our next cruise. Curious as to past cruisers who have been on the Valor or Miracle. We have narrowed it down to these two ships b/c they are newer and the islands they hit. My personal thought to the only flaw of the Miracle is it smaller (88,000 gross tonnage but is 963 feet long) We were just on the Liberty that is 110,000 tonnage. The valor is flawless in what I see. Hoping someone can provide some insight. TIA!

A smaller ship is actually usually better - less crowded at buffets & dining room, better seats in shows, more shore excursions availability, lower art auction prices...

Big ships offer bigger casinos, bigger shows, more night-life, more mingling potential, etc...

I usually opt for the smaller ships myself.

Carnival Liberty and Valor are identical (except for decor) sister ships. I loved my Valor cruise and would recommend it to anyone. You can't go wrong if you pick Valor and already like Liberty.

Default Sister Ships

I believe these are sister ships. Which means if you cruise on one of them the layout is the same as the other. What I have noticed about sister ships is the decor' is different.

I have sailed on the Miracle and loved it. Tampa has a lot of other entertainment to offer too. Gasparilla was last weekend which means we have a month of entertainment. This weekend the Fl. State Fair starts and will last for two weeks.

I have not sailed on the Valor.
Have a wonderful cruise regardless of which one you choose.

Ok, I have another question in regards to smaller vs. larger ships. DOn't the smaller ones (less gross tonnage) hit the waves a little rougher therefore feeling more mvmt on the ship?

Default Miracle or Valor

I have not been on the Miracle, but traveled the Valor. Valor is big, very clean, nice artwork. My only fuss is the dining services were terrible! Food was not preped right. But that might not be the case since you are going at a later time. They had to get the bugs worked out of the new system since it was a new boat! Enjoy and choose based on what ports you want to see! Maurice FASC.

they are simular ships but they big difference is the ports...I thought the Miracle goes to Costa Maya and the Valor goes to Roatan...just check out these ports and decide which you would prefer...Karyn

We just sailed on the Valor in January and found it to be a beautiful ship, very clean and excellent food. This was our 3rd cruise on a carnival ship and found it to be the best so far. Have a great time on what ever ship you sail-you are the one that makes the cruise enjoyable.
