Default Bahamas in February-how warm?

My friends and I are going on the Celebration on Feb. 2 going to Freeport and Nassau. We're trying to decide what to wear and plan excursions based upon the weather. Can anyone say how warm we can expect it to be this time of the year? Is the ocean warm enough to swim? Are the pools on the swim warm enough to swim in?

Thanks.

We went in January and although I personally found the ocean too cold for my tastes, there were plenty of people (hardier souls than me apparently) swimming.

Air temp is shorts weather.

I checked the five day forecast the air temps are in the high 70's to low 80's.
Sure beats the winter blah's!

I went to Nassau in Feb. for the last 2 yrs. (won a Superbowl trip) and the water was too cold for me. The daytime temps. were nice, evenings a little cool but not too bad. You may want to take a lightweight jacket or sweater. We did the swim with the dolphins 2 years ago and although the water was cool, we wore wetsuits so it wasn't that bad. You'll have a great time. Enjoy
