The lovely Mrs. Jones and I are sailing the Valor in April. We drive down to Miami from Lakeland, and usually arrive at the port around 1:30 or so. That seems to work well. We avoid the crowd at the beginning, and the rush just before sailing.
Ok so if we take off fromport at 4 pm your saying get there around 2 and you dont have any lines???
I just might have to try that...we went in October, and got to Port of Miami at 1130 am...we waited a bit in line and got onto the ship at like 1245pm...but it was cool to have the time to eat and get to know the ship,BUT if no lines are around 2pm maybe I will do that..I only live an hour from the port anyhow...
My problem is, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning, and can't wait to get on board. I'm excited about cruising out of Miami for the first time, instead of New Orleans. I'm also excited about fling for the first time. I've flown on choppers, but thats it. So, I'm getting excited Not to meantion, we're in the double digits now.

Skymaster, Our group of 13 will be on the same crusie as u r on. We cant wait either. We will get to the docks about 11:30. Thats a good time to get on. Maybe a slight wait but its ok. That close feels so good. Valor in site is jsut what I am waiting for right now. Happy cruising to all!!
