In Miami I don't know of any hotels that offer free shuttle service to the pier. However if you stay in the downtown Miami area a taxi to the pier is only just over $10 or so to the pier (and that's per taxi, not per person).
We usually don't book through the cruise line for the night before, but we booked this through Carnival because we got a good rate. They will shuttle us to the hotel from the airport, then (because we booked through Carnival) will shuttle us to the pier the next morning. I looked at the place online and it looks nice. Has anyone else stayed here?

We are sailing the Valor May 7th and this will be our second time staying at the Comfort inn on Sterlilng Rd. It picks u up at the airport and shuttles you to the pier...they also provide a great free breakfast buffet. It is inexpensive also. I'll check for the phone number if you're interested and post it...hope you have a great time...this will be our 8th cruise.. can't wait.
