Default 3:00 flight home

We aren't flying out of Miami until 3:00. This is our first cruice and I was wondering what's the latest you have to be off the ship. We aren't in any hurry to get to the airport. Also I had read where at the Tampa port there was a place you could store your luggage for a few hours while you looked around the shops or had lunch. Are there places like this at the Miami port also. We have talked about a post cruise excursion but don't feel like we have a ton of time and we don't what to have to rush around to get off the ship to squeeze in an excursion than rush to the airport. We would just like to take our time after what we hope will be a wonderful week on valor.

I'm not sure which ship you're on but, many times as you're leaving the ship for the end of your cruise; people are getting ready to board because the ship is leaving again that afternoon.

Sorry but I have been out of that port twice and saw nothing to do. Have you thought of a good book? We had our cabbie drive us around Miaimi for awhile, but boy that really cost us.

They may offer a few post excursions that you can do, they drop you off at the airport after the tour. You should get some information on those once you are onboard. Sure beats sitting at the airport for hours.

on average most folks are off the ship by 10-10:30 at the latest. The crew has to get in and make the ship ready for the cruise departing that evening. Check out the post-cruise excursions, you might find a short one that suits your needs. Another option might be to get a day room at a hotel and just hang-out by the pool.
