Dear Nopesos,
I am looking at a Carnival brochure. 6A is the lowest passenger deck.
Deck 1 is the Riveria Deck. 6B is the second lowest passenger deck,
one deck above Riveria and is called the Main Deck or Deck 2. Both
of these categories are oceanview cabins. The Riveria deck is usually
cheaper than the Main deck. I have seen some pricing that is the same
or the Main being just a little cheaper. 6E is located on Deck 11, the
Spa Deck, these are family staterooms that feature floor to ceiling windows.
These are more expensive than a 6A or 6B. If you have a family, I
would think a 6E would be better. With an upgrade, they upgrade your
cabin, deck, or both. If you booked a 6B and were upgraded to a 6E,
both your cabin (size) and deck were upgraded. Check out the Carnival
website for more information. I have stayed in a category 6A/B and
they have enough room for 5 people, but it will be tight. I'm sure you
would like the 6E better. Just one more thought. A 6E cabin is the
top of the ship and forward. You will feel a lot of movement in this location. If sea sickness is a concern, think about a 6B. Anyway
have a wonderful cruise.
Happy Sailing............
