We completely enjoyed our excursion to Tranquility Beach Shores in Freeport. The beach was beautiful, the view was spectacular and the BBQ was delicious. They had beach chairs for relaxing. They played beach games if you wanted to participate or like my husband, you could sit and do nothing.

Swimming with the dolphins in Nassau. We booked it independently as only the encounter was available through the ship. It was expensive but worth every penny. Truly a magical day.

Darcy,

Who did you book the swin with, and how much was the cost???? What is the difference between the encounter and the swim?? Several kids that are traveling in our group are interested in the dolphin encounter.

Thanks!!

I booked the swim through shoretrips.com. At the time it was about $150/pp. You can book it directly with the provider. Just do a google search and type in "dolphin swim nassau bahamas". Their website should come up. In the dolphin encounter you get into the water about to your knees and the dolphins come up near you. With the swim you actually get in the water with them (everyone must wear a life vest). I found there was much more interaction with the dolphins in the swim. Some of the people who did the encounter were disappointed and would have rather done the swim. If you're interested in doing it book early. Its a really popular excursion and fills up fast.

Glass bottom boat in Nassau was nice....also gave you a free "beverage" 8) Good value for the price. Our tour guide was awesome....he showed us where all the famous stars' houses were....it was cool!!
