Default Is the Liberty back to normal after noro-virus outbreak?

I have heard from several cruisers that you are still not able to serve yourself onboard the Liberty. Can anyone share their recent experiences?

I'm interested in the same things. We're hoping the cruisers just back from the Christmas 12/23 cruise have a lot of good things to say ! Less than 3 weeks before we go.

I was on the ship on Dec 17-23 and everything went pretty good I'd say. They didn't make the virus outbreak a big deal. There was a flyer which had information about the virus(how to prevent it, how you get it.. etc). They had hand sanitizers everywhere so it seemed like they were taking proper precautions.

However.. my friend did get sick on the first night from some stomach virus? She was put into quarantine for 24 hours and thankfully got better from then on. The infirmary staff seemed to be really onto it, informing room service that she'd be ordering quite often, informing the restaurant of her absence.. etc.

Other then that, everything seemed to have gone smoothly!

Hello, I am new here! What a great group of people!!

We were also on the Dec 17-23 sailing and that's correct...everything seemed back to normal.

Beckysharlene...I'd be willing to bet your friend was infected with a virus BEFORE she got on the ship. It takes a day to a few days for norovirus to cause symptoms once you are exposed. Glad she was only sick for 24 hrs and that it didnt ruin her vacation!

1st time to this website. Thank you all for the great information. My wife and I and another couple are cruising on the Liberty 4/28-5/6. This will be our 3rd cruise and we are counting the days down.

I was onboard on Dec 2-17 and everything was normal. Hand santizers and toweletts placed outside the dining rooms but the buffet lines were self-service.
