flight time

Hello! Am scheduled for the May 20 Western on the victory.
Am looking at booking airfare and wanted some advice. The schedule shows the ship as coming in at 8a.m. on the 27th to the port of Miami.
Would a 10:35 flight be too close? That's the best one for us but am worried it may not be enough time.

Your cutting it close. If you can, fly in the night before. You never know if there's air problems. That way you won't go nuts. If you can't fly in the night before then get on the earliest flight possible.

it is technically doable but its cutting it very close. If you can't get a later flight then you need to either do self-disembarkment or purchase a one-way transfer from Carnival to the airport.

Outbound flight YES Way to close Don't even think about putting yourself through this
Just think, you have thousands of people coming into the port, and you have thousands leaving. Even if everything goes perfectly, and your off the ship by 9.30, you will still be cutting it way to close.
MIA, can be a nightmare
Our next cruise out of Miami (MIA) I will book either a 1 or 2 o'clock flight out. Or, I will fly out the next morning.

Inbound flight;- I would prefer to fly in the day before. (Saturday ) If thats not possible, a 10.35am flight in would work fine.

On our 1st Cruise, my GF and I left on an 8am flight for a 4pm Cruise Departure. As we were seated and ready to taxi, the Captain came on and said we had experienced electrical problems and would be delayed.
Long story short...we made the ship by 10 minutes!
DONT Fly in that same day!!!!!

the day before, and flying home the day after. No sense in taking chances with airlines, especially in this day and age...
