Drink Coupons

Is it cheaper to buy the drink coupons & a bottle of wine through the Bon Voyage dept. before you leave on your cruise? (have it delivered to your room), and are the drink coupons good for any type of drink???

Welcome to Cruisemates!

From looking at the offerings in the "Gifts" area of the Carnival website I'd say you wouldn't save any $$ by pre-ordering. I believe that the drink coupons (4 for $19.95) would just be for "well" drinks and the wine looks to be the regular price.

If you want to pre-pay to keep your final cruise bill down it might be a good idea.

I buy the drink coupons all the time I have cruised and used them for high priced liquor drinks, well drinks, Foo Foo Drinks, beer buckets and any shots to. I buy them because I have to budget months before I go and this way I know my liquor bill is paid. I have everyone at work doing this also and we also buy our photo coupons head of time so they are paid for also. I love the drink coupons and never had a problem using them and have received fourty dollars worth for a xmas gift from my sister who is going on the cruise with me. They help me budget and that is why I use them and I use them to buy any kind of drink as did my fiance' and couples who went with us on the other cruises.
