Default How early can you drop off luggage on embarking?

We are leaving on a cruise July 1 on the Valor in Port of Miami and want to know if anyone has dropped luggage off early? We want to checkout of our hotel -drop the luggage and go back for breakfast and shopping until time to board. Want to know if we can drop off at 9 or 10 am?

Nope, that's too early! There will still be people coming off the ship, and collecting their luggage, so porters will be tied up, and the bins for the following cruise will not be out yet.

Look to 10:30 - 11:00 AM and you should be alright.

Not sure how Miami does this but we have never been able to drop our luggage off that early. We have gotten to a few ports around 9:30 am and they are still clearing out their current passenger's luggage and asked us to wait. We only had to wait till about 10:30 and have been on board as early as 11:30. I don't know if it would be worth 2 trips to the port.

About 4 hours before sailing.
