We are thinking about sailing out the weekend after christmas for a week long cruise. My mom is coming with us and she is 60. My dad just passed away this past new year eve and I want to make sure she meets people she can do things with.
How many single people her age will be on the ship during the christmas break time? Or is this more of a family time for cruising? Thanks, Carla

I think Mike's post was just a smile to tell you how nice it is to take your Mom on a cruise!
I think there will be all sorts of people on an after Christmas cruise! While the Christmas cruises will be full of families, the after Christmas cruises (generally at a better price) should attract more "older" people.
I'm sure your Mom will have a wonderful time !
