Default What, if any, beverages are included with your meals ?????

We are new cruisers and will be sailing on Carnival Destiny. Can anyone tell me if there are any beverages available with your meals or if you have to purchase them separately. I also read they have a soda card, but I assume that is for soda only ?? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Your very welcome.

You can get ice tea, hot tea, coffee, juices, milk at any meal for free.

The bottle of water you will find in your room. NOT free. Nor is any canned pop. If your a big pop drinker then the soda card is the way to go.

You can usually get the Tea, coffee, juices, and water in the buffet area any time of day.

Please keep in mind that the drinking water onboard has a very distinct aftertaste. And the iced tea , since it is made with that same water, does as well. We were able to "tolerate" the iced tea by adding several lemon slices. But the other family at our table could not and wound up buying soft drinks from the bar at about $5 a pop.

The lemonade, however, is excellent. You can get that and fruit punch at the buffet anytime. Apple juice, orange juice, white and chocolate milk are also available during breakfast,

I have to say this is the one thing I have never understood about Carnival criuises. You would think they could figure out a way to let you have a coke with your dinner without charging you an arm and a leg.

What is the price of the soda cards, and can you get different flavors each time?

I think it was $5 - $6 per day of your cruise. And you can get any soda they have - coke, diet coke, sprite or 7up, etc.
