There is nothing to speak of in Calica. You will need to take a cab to somewhere nearby. My recommendation would be to take a cab to the Omni Resort in Puerto Aventuras. They have a great pool and beach, with a nice beachside restaurant and bar. We had chips, salsa and fish tacos. You could also explore Playa Del Carmen
In Cozumel there are lots of places to eat, I can't think of any that I'd really recommend though. Maybe someone else will have something to offer.

I will say don't eat at El Toro. I think that was the name. The food was rather bland.

In Cozumel, go to Pancho's Backdoor Cafe.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
