Default Western Caribbean Excursions

My family is cruising on Carnival Legend to Grand Cayman, Cosumel, Belize and Costa Maya in 2 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions on which excursions to take and which to avoid? Also, this is our first cruise, if you have any advice of any kind please feel free to e-mail me.
Thank you,
John

In grand caymen you have to try sting ray city. If you have kids they will love it. Its was so amazing.

Also my BF's family did the ATV ride in Cozumel in March. They said it was great. After the ATV ride they was amazing snorkeling at a small lagoon. They loved it. We went to Tulum (Mayan ruins) and thought it was neat but were geeks Carla

Hi John, and a big welcome to Cruisemates. Picking excursions depends on how active your family is, and what their interests are. Can you give us some guide lines?

Hello,
I just made a reservation with Soto Cruises to see stingray city in Grand Caymen. We had booked with them once before but, I believe it was Ivan who kept us away. We also want to try out the zip-lines in Costa Maya.

Let us know how you liked the Zip-Lines. We have thought about trying that but never have.

In Cozumel, I have horseback riding, ruins, city shopping and zip lines.

In Belize, we did just shopping.

In Costa Maya, we did the ruins.

In Georgetown, we did the Pirate ship cruise.

Grand Cayman - the stingray city is awesome and not to be missed, and the turtle farm is pretty neat too.

Cozumel - we have done horseback riding, but the dolphin swim was much better (a real treat for the kids). Tulum is great but makes for a long day. Otherwise, shopping is the order of business in Cozumel.

In Belize, my wife and one daughter went to the zoo (animal refuge?) and had a good time. The rest of us had a combo - rainforest zipline and cave tubing. It was pretty neat but also made for a long day.

Costa Maya - went to Tequila Beach Club and scuba dove.

In Costa Maya we did a beach break at a place called Pez Quadro at the end of the fishing village town. I booked it through the net but they also accept walk up customers. I got a nice massage on the beach right plus they had open bar for the day as well as beach chairs, restroom facilities, and numerous activities right there. Very relaxing fun time. The cost was and still is 30.00pp.

2 of the best shore excursions I have ever been on were Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman and Cave Tubing in Belize. Had a blast on both of those.

How was the pirate ship cruise? My mom, who really is a 60 year old kid, really wanted to do it but was afraid it was only for little kids. Carla
