Technically no she will not be allowed in the casino or gamble. The regulations are stated that no one under 21 is allowed to enter the casino area and gamble. I say technically bc I am sure from time to time someone under 21 has been able to do so but in the cruises that I have been to I have never seen anyone allowed to do so, I have seen people asked to leave when they clearly were not 21.
That is not true! Carnival's age of gambling is 18 years old. I know for sure, because we juct got back from the Liberty 7/7/7 cruise. We went specifically for my twin sons 18th b-day. They only checked their ID once and did not tell them they could not be there. They even got a PLAYERS CLUB ACCOUNT. I know that Princess' age may be 21, but Carnival is definately 18 YEARS OLD, so tell her to HAVE FUN.
In California, in the Indian Casinos, if they don't serve alcohol you only have to be 18. However, if they serve alcohol, you must be 21 to play in the casinos.
I know nothing about the cruises, but I intend to find out, in approx. 48 days... yahoooo.
Bobby,
You were correct in October of 2006 it was 21 because I saw a few people removed who I knew were over 18 but under 21. Carnival must have changed it recently. Only means theres gona be stupid teenagers who dont understand gambling hoping to win every jackpot there is sitting in the casino... another reason to keep my gambling in Vegas.

In 2003, on the Sensation, the age limit was 18. There were a ton of college kids on spring break on board and i saw very few of them in the casino. I don't think most kids 18 yrs old don't have gambling on thier minds during a cruise and probably don't have the funds for a full scale assault on the tables.
