Default 3 cabins or a suite?

Is it more economical to have 3 separate cabins or a large suite that would sleep 6 adults?

On which cruise and ship and date?? Give us a hint lol

On my next cruise the cheapest suite is about 300% more than a inside cabin, but Im not sure Id want to sleep 6 in there with only one bath, even if they would allow it.

My guess is if you mean insides, then 3 are cheaper, if you mean OV, might be close. Balconys....maybe the suite is cheaper, if you can find one open that books 6.

What do we get if we guess right?

Some of the suites have more than one bedroom and more than one bathroom, but for sure those would cost more than 3 regular cabins....thats why I didnt count those.

There are a couple of cabins up front on some ships that have a separate (almost) room for the children with bunk beds too. Only 2 that I know of.

On RCI there are some royal family suites....I think they allow 6, does it have to be carnvial?

I was just looking at these on deck 8 and 9 on Voyager, I booked a cabin near them.

RCCL royal suite will sleep 5. I don't think Carnival has a suite that will sleep 5 or 6.

When we cruised on the Glory we struggled with that question too.

What we decided to do was to get 3 balcony cabins in a row. It was nice because we had 2 or 3 in each cabin. We had a total of 3 bathrooms. Which was a BIG PLUS.

And, we asked the steward to unlock the gate between the balconies and we just had one long balcony.
It worked out great. We were able to go cabin to cabin w/out going into the hall. Loved it. Would have been even better if we had at least one connecting cabin. But maybe next time if we book earlier. Have a great cruise.
