YOU HORRIBLE PERSON!!! That picture is so perfect!

Now I am so hungry I almost can't wait for lunch. Think I need my bowl of Kashi now.

The Fish and Chips are awesome. On the Glory we had to go upstairs from the Lido near the pool. Someone got it for me as I couldn't clime the stairs. I couldn't believe how YUM-O they were.

Almost lunch time here, looks good Fred!

I see you've been on the Valor. Please feel free to post all the pictures from the Valor that you can. I'll be on her next summer!

Yup, its on the deck above the pool. There is supposedly a way to go around and go up there in the elevator, but sounds difficult. We will be on the Conquest in 2008

If you look at the deck plans its called something wierd like Sur Mer?? Some name I can never remember, but you will see it on the deck plans. Its right up the stairs near the main pool.

Conquest also has a sushi bar down near the kids area.

I'm always amazed at how many people don't know that "fish n chips" is up there. It is excellent, and never very busy. (don't tell anyone it's there, or I'll have to wait in line next time)

Just the way I like it

Anyways like you said, the Grilled Tuna on White with extra mayo and tomatos is the best.

Yes, the Conquest serves fried oysters at Sur Mer. We are from Louisiana and we were thinking a dozen or so. Well, they give you 2. My husband laughed. He told the guy..just give me 6 more plates like this. They have seafood at this place though. Do enjoy.

Hey Nurseypoo,
When we were on the Conquest we went to Sur Mer's and I ordered fried oysters and they were like in a patty, all placed together and fried. There was probably 8 or 9. I didn't count, but they were yummy. I also love fried oysters!

Does anyone know if there is a place like this on the Ecstasy? We will be on her this December and I really hope there is a seafood place.

Thanks,
Cathy

Wasn't one last year when we were on Ecstasy...DH is reeeaaaallllyyyy looking forward to having Sur Mer on the Conquest and wishes Ecstasy had a similar place. Ecstasy had the lido restaurant plus pizzeria and grill, the formal dining rooms, and the "Promenade" food places such as pastries, sushi, etc. no fish and chips place. I think that was all.

When I was on the Glory we went up there a lot. We really enjoyed it. I love fish and this was sooooooooooooo good. It was always busy that week but so worth the wait.

Darn! I thought that I had read somewhere that one of the grills or something changed into the Seaview Bistro at night. I was really hoping that it would serve the same type of foods as Sur Mers. Oh well, not like I am going to cancel my cruise over that!

Thanks for the info!

I was thinking the Sur Mer was "free" food, or is that one of the places you have to pay extra for? I assume that since someone said they gave you 2 fried oysters, that surely they were included in the "all inclusive" part of the cruise! jj
