Alcohol Question

Alcohol. My question is can you get a bottle of hard alcohol, or a 6 pack of beer sent to your room via room service? I have been reading that some people "smuggle" alcohol on for their room. I don't want to break any rules, but I would enjoy a drink or 2 in my room while my girlfriend is getting ready for dinner, or out on the balcony, and I don't want to run to a bar everytime I am in my room and I need another drink.

Never heard of being able to get bottled alcohol delivered to the room except on the last night when deliver your purchases. As for Beer you could buya bucket of beer (4 cans as I recall) and bring it back to your cabin. That way it would be there when you are ready and the cabin steward would even bring ice & keep it cold for you.

You're also allowed to bring one bottle of wine per guest for consumption in your cabin. Room steward will furnish the wine glasses, just ask, or he'll do it on his own when he sees the bottle.

You will have no problem getting a bottle of booze on the ship if you put it in your check on baggage. In 5 cruises I have always packed a bottle of crown in check on baggage and I have never had a problem. This last cruise I packed a bottle of crown and a 12 pack of beer in my checked baggage and no one asked a question.
