Default Luggage Tags

Crazy Question - I'm at work, 3 days prior to sail date...was going to make address labels to put on the luggage tags that Carnival sent...

does anyone recall what information needs to be on there?

Thanks,

All that is really needed is:

- Ship's Name and sail date
- Your last name
- Your cabin #

Flight numbers DO NOT go on the boarding luggage tags. Debark tags will be given onboard and that is where the flight number goes.

Default what if...

I've got the e-ticket which printed out blank and white luggage tags. Is it ok if they are not in colour?

It does not matter.

Here's what a luggage tag looks like. If folds over so the info is on it twice. I took off the cabin #, booking # and deck #.

I did not know that when you chose to do the sign and sail online option after the funpass you would not get luggage tags in the mail; next time I will wait, I really do not like the paper ones they are bulky for carring.
I guess I am supposed to staple them around the luggage handle.

I punched a hole in my tags and tied ribbon to it. When it came time for us to use it, I just looped it around the handle. Very easy.

Hi Hi,
The luggage tags we received with our docs didn't have VIP on them. However, when we printed out extra tags online they had VIP and all necessary info. We printed on card stock and didn't need to fold them before using.

I love the hole punch idea then you don't have to fold them.

If you don't like the paper method, you can always get the regular tags once you get to the port. The porters will give you whatever you need, just make sure you get the appropriate tags for your assigned deck. Not that they wouldn't deliver your luggage if you place the wrong tags on your luggage, but I'd rather not try it!

Default Just got back...

I came back four days ago. The black and white luggage tags that I had printed out from computer worked just fine. I've received my luggage within two hours. But my husband's one arrived hours later.

Is it possible to laminate the paper ones and then attach at the port via ribbon, string, zip tie, etc.

Default la la la....

Laminate? No need for too much work. Just staple it together is good enough.
