We will be taking grandkids along on a cruise. What id do we need for the plane etc? thanks, jack

kids should have passports, birth certificates and probably a signed statement from the parents authorizing you to travel with the children - it should include the parents home work and cell phone numbers

and include a medical release in case of emergency.
It should also be notarized.

Someone posted the release last week but I can't remember what forum it was one. I'll snoop around and try to find it.
