Does anyone have a picture of a Balcony Room with a sofa and an upper? More specifically a 8C stateroom on the Conquest(glory, valor, liberty, freedom). I have looked all over the net and cannot find a picture. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Great pictures. That is exactly what what I was looking for. Thank you. The room- 8C is the Verandah Deck on the Conquest, which is the same as Glory. Can you put the upper up when not in use? Where does the ladder go?
The upper bunk is only let down at night and your cabin stewards puts it back up when they make up your room in the morning or afternoon in our case when our then teen son would finally wake up. They have a special key to lock and unlock it. Also, FYI, there are 2 large drawers under the couch seat. We didn't know it until our 3rd day. They came in handy for souvenir storage. Just don't forget to empty them when you leave.

I didn't even know this fact about the drawers under the sofa. We just came back from Triumph. Does this go for all the sofas in the cabins? This is going to be a tremendous help come girls' cruise time in May!

I laughed when I read about your "then teen" sleeping until the afternoon. Each morning when we left the cabin, we would put the do not disturb sign out because our teen was still asleep. We would always run into our cabin steward in the hallway and he would joke about how all the teens sleep late. Most of the cabins without teens were cleaned in the morning, those with teens were always cleaned later.
As for the drawers, that's good to know for our next cruise. We kept our souvenirs on top of the couch or in our closet. What a great tip!
