Can anyone tell me if the steward is able to open the partition on the balcony so that adjoining rooms can be connected? We have 3 cabins together and would like one big balcony.

We had 5 adjoining rooms on one of our Carnival Legend cruises, and yes the partitions could be opened. However, the room steward couldn't do it. Call the pursers desk as soon as you board, and they will have someone from maintainence come and do it. Be aware it may be the next day before it is done. Enjoy!!
