Okay, I've got the holes filled in. I'm only questioning the Sensation piano guy, Jordan who just got off the Sensation said his replacement was Jamaican, so the would make him Keron McLaughlin, not Jason Davis. So Perhaps they have swapped ships? Hopefully some helpful cruiser can confirm for us.

Ron Pass is my absolute favorite Carnival Piano Bar guy. I've sailed with him twice, once on the Valor and once on the Freedom. He's a good piano player, he has a great voice, a very warm and welcoming personality, and a great energy about him. Knows how to fill a room and keep it happy. Plus, he's pretty darn easy on the eyes... !

He's generally pretty beloved among most cruisers, although I have to say my favorite review of him ever was this one from the Freedom earlier this year:

“The Piano Bar dude (Ron was it?) was adequate, but almost too young and too good looking. The ladies liked him, but I like my piano bar acts to be older, and gruffer; but that’s just me.”

!

My second favorite review of him was: "The drunker he gets, the funnier he gets."

The 11/09/2008 cruise will be his first week back after a break so he should be rarin' to go! Enjoy!

Alas, ships going into drydock for a while stumps me. I can't ask the current guy on there to find out for me because there will be no current guy during drydock. So far none of the folks on vacation that I am in contact with are telling about a contract on it or the Liberty or the Triumph or the Fantasy after drydock.

Unless I hear something from one of them I'll probably have to wait until after the drydock and get a report from a cruiser or I get my hands on an updated roster, which alas will only show current postings, so it will have to be after they start their contract. Arrrrgh!

But as soon as I hear anything it will be posted. And since you asked, I'll keep my ears opened extra wide to find out for you as soon as I can.

Sorry. I was on the Legend 9/28 - 10/5, and time leading up to and after the cruise has been crazy busy.

I don't have a name for the Triumph yet. I'm hoping a cruiser on the ship will come forward soon with a name. I'm also missing the Conquest and the Paradise currently and the Liberty after drydock. Alas, this is not an exact science. I'll update as soon as I know!

Alas, I don't know yet. I'm hoping to get the Liberty entertainer soon and they will probably be the one on the Liberty. As for the Freedom, 12/14 is the day that Brad gets off the ship, so unless one of the folks contacts me and tell me they are going there, I probably won't be able to find out until the week before if Brad can find out.

Angela Johnson is fantastic on the triumph.
She kept the party going until past 2am most nights.

She is a concert pianist from Canada...VERY talented.

We LOVED her.
She really made our cruise special.

we have met Ron on the freedom he is very good and the story he toldd is wundering he's a life. thank's for the great time on board.

now a little bit dissapointed we get a lady on the miracle what can we acspect from he. i hope see is good.


a lady why are there only twoo kind of people man and woman.

i told my friends the piano bar must be good but when i must say we have a lady piano player whar then i think i gonne put the late dinner as favorit then we have not so much time for the piano bar ( kidding )
