How to check and see if your ship is filling up?

I asked this question a while ago. I am not too sure how this is done.

Could one of you sweet people tell me how to check on what cabins are still available on the ship we are goin on?

Some of our group booked TBA and would like to know if they will be put with the rest of us, since they are with the group? 8)

Go to Carnival.com.....select your sailing and pretend like you are booking the cruise. Click on each deck and the available cabins will pop up. I don't know if they show ALL of the available rooms, but it's the only way I know.....unless you call Carnival and ask. A good measure for me is....when the price goes up the ship is filling up. Guaranteed rooms are assigned 30 days prior to sailing, and your TA will have your cabin number.

We have a Vacation Planner from Carnival. She told me the same as you did about the TBA getting their cabins assigned 30 days before. I just want to see if it is going to be possible to get them back there with the rest of us. If those cabins are still not booked, then it may be a good sign.

Your Vacation Planner may be able to help you with that by linking the group. It helped our group of 150 people. Now, we were on two different decks, but we were in the same general area. We had booked VERY early and a lot of the group were past guests, so we were upgraded 5 or 6 decks. We thought that was great! The upgrades went in the same category as you originally booked, but being on Verandah deck was great. We rarely used the elevators because Lido deck was one staircase up.

I called a Carnival Cruise Consultant yesterday. She told me that it will be noticed that we all booked the same time(a year from cruise day) and that we are one big group. She said it is always taken into consideration that there is a group and they all would like to be together. It may be the same deck.

I am so glad you told me about the steps. I thought that is what they were on the diagram. It was kinda hard to tell what that was? I think we will be using the steps for the Lido deck also.

As long as you booked early enough your PVP or TA should be able to keep your group together. When my group booked the Miracle in 2006 for last year we were noted by our T/A as a group and all our cabins were in the same general location

That is good to know.
There are only three cabins that were booked as TBA. All the rest of us booked and picked the cabins we are in.
It looks good that maybe the rest will be back with us.
