My sister and I would like to know what your favorite drinks are, so we can try sampling at home before we go...
I don't really have a favorite but you can check out the bar menu here http://unofficialcarnivalwiki.com/wiki/Bar_Menu then you can look up webtender.com for recipes. Search for drinks by name, ingredients & several other criteria. I hope it's ok to put links. If not, I'm sowwwwy.
Actually, we know webtender.com all too well...
Thanks for the menu...
We are actually looking for a drink that is not too fruity, not blended... with a little kick...
you know good flavor, but you can definately taste the alcohol...
My personal favorite while being somewhere tropical is a Mai Tai. I prefer mine on the rocks, but they make a great frozen drink as well. Try one next time, hope you like it.
But the first thing I order at the bar is 2 pina coladas, I need one for each hand!!!!

That's my kinda drink, but can you tell me what's in it?
Is it blenda or on the rocks?
Fruity or not?
It's rum, sugar syrup, a little lime juice (I think) and mint leaves. It's one of my favorites. It's not real sweet, not fruity, but can be potent. I also like the Yellowbird or is it Yellowtail? , Yellow something.
3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
club soda
In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve.

I have been jotting them all down, going to try at least one of them all. Of course the Bahama mama while in freeport. I'm so excited about my first cruise.

Kiss on the Lips recipe
This drink recipe is one of the bigger hits on Carnival Cruise Lines. It seems like every person who tries it comes back with a mission to find the recipe. :o) Quantities are an estimate, adjust to taste.
1 - 1 1/2 oz peach schnapps
4 - 6 oz frozen mango mix
1 tbsp grenadine syrup
The mango mix should be blended with crushed ice firstly with the schnapps. Pour the schnapps and mango mix into a cocktail glass with the grenadine already placed at the bottom.
