I don't really have a favorite but you can check out the bar menu here http://unofficialcarnivalwiki.com/wiki/Bar_Menu then you can look up webtender.com for recipes. Search for drinks by name, ingredients & several other criteria. I hope it's ok to put links. If not, I'm sowwwwy.

Actually, we know webtender.com all too well...
Thanks for the menu...

We are actually looking for a drink that is not too fruity, not blended... with a little kick...
you know good flavor, but you can definately taste the alcohol...

My personal favorite while being somewhere tropical is a Mai Tai. I prefer mine on the rocks, but they make a great frozen drink as well. Try one next time, hope you like it.

But the first thing I order at the bar is 2 pina coladas, I need one for each hand!!!!

It's rum, sugar syrup, a little lime juice (I think) and mint leaves. It's one of my favorites. It's not real sweet, not fruity, but can be potent. I also like the Yellowbird or is it Yellowtail? , Yellow something.

try this....

Mojito recipe rating got a 9.3

3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
club soda

In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve.

Keep in mind that the mojitos on the ship are not near as good as the ones you will get in many ports.

I agree with many already mentioned: Funship special is good, Kiss on the lips, Yellow birds, Bahama Moma, Miami Vice, etc. All great!

I have to agree with the cosmo...I definatly rocked out a miami vice with HUGE aviator sunglasses on our last cruise.

We also love the captain's welcome aboard party...we just instructed the waiter to keep em coming..I cannot wait for our next cruise!!!

Well I got to wondering what is a the difference between a yellow bird and a yellow parrot?
Yellow Bird
1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1/2 oz Galliano® herbal liqueur
1/2 oz vodka
4 oz sweet and sour mix

Pour all the alcoholic ingredients in a highball glass. Stir sour mix in a mixer and fill the glass.

Yellow Parrot
Ingredients:
Ice
3/4 ounce absinthe (may substitute Absente or Pernod)
3/4 ounce yellow Chartreuse (do not use green)
3/4 ounce apricot brandy
1 orange slice, for garnish
Directions:
Fill a mixing glass two-thirds full with ice. Add the absinthe, yellow Chartreuse and apricot brandy; stir vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the orange slice

I like Melon Sour simple and tasty.
1 3/4 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 3/4 oz sweet and sour mix
Pour ingredients into a cocktail glass, stir and serve.

Kiss on the Lips recipe
This drink recipe is one of the bigger hits on Carnival Cruise Lines. It seems like every person who tries it comes back with a mission to find the recipe. :o) Quantities are an estimate, adjust to taste.

1 - 1 1/2 oz peach schnapps
4 - 6 oz frozen mango mix
1 tbsp grenadine syrup

The mango mix should be blended with crushed ice firstly with the schnapps. Pour the schnapps and mango mix into a cocktail glass with the grenadine already placed at the bottom.
