Ok, so this may be a dumb question but here it goes, lol. My husband and I are taking a cruise in Aug. There was originally 4 of us going so we booked a room for 4. Since then the other 2 have cancelled and its just my husband and I. Do I need to call and get our room changed? They wont just add 2 more people to our room or anything right? Thanks for answering the newbies question, lol.
With the other two cancelling off of the reservation, Carnival may move you to a cabin that has only 2 beds...to free up the cabin with 4 beds.
Do you have your cabin number already - did you pick your cabin?
I had a cabin for 3 on my last cruise; stepson had to cancel a week before we sailed due to school requirements; they left us in the same room that I had chosen for the 3 of us.
Yes, I agree with cruzaddict:
If they need a cabin for 4 and there is one for 2, they may move you.
It may also depend if it is on the same deck, the same(inside or balcony) cabin type and in the same area.
One of our cruises, they put us in a cabin for 4 and there was only 2 of us...so I guess it is if they need it or not.
You might want to call, and see if there is a well placed cabin that you could change to now. If you need to be moved for a family of 4 for that cabin, they could move you to an area, you may not be happy with. Worth the phone call.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Question: Is the cabin paid for in full? If so, are you going to get a refund? If not, invite someone elso to go. Don't wait too long so you have time to get a refund or pay a small fee for the 'replacements".
