We are trying to decide on our excursions and we were wondering if any of you have played golf in Cozumel? Is it worth the price? Just trying to figure out my options. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have golfed in Cozumel many times and have always enjoyed it. I don't know what you'll be paying, however. I work for Carnival so I get the crew discount. Think about these things when you shell out your dough: first, the golf pro. Is he or she nice? Do they go out of there way to show you extra things? Do they explain about the golf course? Location? Travel time? You know what I'm saying. The clubs rented to you are great clubs. I believe new Nikes have been placed on most of the ships fleetwide. Ok, let's move on. The personnel at the course are very attentive. Nice pro shop and outside bar, although kinda pricey. You are allowed to take drinks with you out on the course. Fairways were in good condition last time I was there (about 4 months ago) and the greens are true. It's a challenging course for the ones that want to break 100. I myself shoot around 90-95. Mind you, I don't get to play that often. Holes 16-18 might be the toughest holes you'll ever play. Not a lot of room for mistakes at all. OB to left and right. Watch out for crocs! They warn you about this before you head out anyway, so don't worry! All depending on how good you're used to playing, bring xtra balls! The brush is THICK! If you lose one, good luck finding it! I don't even think the golf pro would go looking for ya!
With all that being said, I think it's worth anywhere from $100-$130. If it's more, don't let me deter you from going. Remember, you're on vacation and in Cozumel! Hope this helps out somewhat!
