Yep, I just couldn't stand to wait until Halloween to cruise again,,,,so,,,,I found an excellent price (for this time of year) on one of my favorite ships, (Inspiration) and booked a get away 5 day cruise out of my favorite port (Tampa) sailing August 25th. Why don't y'all come along and join in on the fun with the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and me. We're going to have a GREAT time, and probably do lots of relaxin' and singin'.

You are very fortunate to be able to go on a whim like that. I would love to be able to just book it and not have to worry about airfare.

Yep, you're absolutely correct. That makes all the difference in the world. Especially, now that the airlines are in such a turmoil! I do, however, have to worry about getting the time off. I've been at my current company 31 years, so have lots of vacation, and lots of seniority, but still have to get the time off approved. So far, the boss says he's having a problem getting someone to fill in for me on the week of August 25th, because it's a holiday weekend following that week. I've got sad news for him. I'm going on the cruise whether he O.K.'s it or not. Maybe they'll fire me, and force me into retirement.
