Can anyone tell me the names of the hotels that overlook the Miami port so that we can say to our to-be three year old granddaughter "the ship, the ship" when she wakes up cruise day?

Radisson Biscayne Bay
Intercontinental Miami
Doubletree Grand Biscayne Bay
Those are the three that I know of and have stayed at. The Radisson has seen better days but I "hear" it's had some work done. The Doubletree was under renovation when I stayed there at the end of 2005. The Intercontinental is the nicest and the most expensive.
Take care,
Mike

Holiday Inn Port of Miami was the best place. It is directly accross from the port and the Bayside Market place which is alot of fun too,.
Early in the morning, you look out the window and see all the ships lit up and lined up it is awesome!!
DH and I will be staying at the Hilton Miami Downtown during the night before our back-to-back Carnival Liberty cruise (August 30th - September 13th). We booked one of the rooms that has the ceiling to floor windows with the views (Bayside Market, Port of Miami, and etc.). Since the Metro Mover passes through this hotel you will be able to use it at no charge to get to various places and back. Have a fun cruise!
