What about all those women on the cruise ships that don't have the body for a swimsuit and wear one anyway should that be illegal too?

Why is it ok for a woman to wear a Bikini or even a thong and a man should not wear a speedo he needs to cover up?

I say equal rights for men and women!

Definitely trunks. I second the call for equality, I think that thongs should be banned for ladies in the same way that speedos should be banned for guys.

I'm all for confidence and I applaud men and women who dress for themselves and feel good about their bodies BUT I also think that guys (and gals) should leave a little to the imagination. I don't want to see the sexiest hunk in a speedo and I don't want to see the most beautiful model in a thong. Just my opinion though ; )

Please, be kind and wear trunks. A hot young, sexy guy can get away with a speedo, but not someone who doesn't have a good body, aka flabby n out of shape...

Women along with men have to wear a bathing suit that fits their body type/size and not what he or she thinks is hot/sexy. Too many women pick a bathing suit that would look good on someone 20+ lbs lighter. Also, bikinis are not flattering if you have a tummy, or are heavier.

I picked a nice tankini in black. No matter what, I'm not going to look good in a bathing suit, so I might as well get one that minimizes my flaws as best possible.....

After having lived in Hawaii where they used to laugh their heads off when they saw some <white> (haole) guy going into the ocean in speedos when they all wore trunks or jams, I got to agreeing with them after 10 years of seeing it.

trunks by all means. Unless you are racing, then you can wear your speedos.

Trunk to hide the junk!! The only man that should wear a Speedo is Michael Phelps, and that is when he races. Speedos give me the creeps anytime I see a guy wearing one. It does cause me to break out into laughter too. You couldnt pay me to wear one and I am in relatively good shape..

I'm on the far side of 60 and I always wear SPEEDO's. I have 2 pair of trunks that say SPEEDO on them.

I so agree with "what is good for guys should be good for the girls
What about all the girls/women who are very pregnant and wear a two piece or a bikini OMG now really.
If there is flab,fat or a baby on the way, then don't wear a bikini.
