Carival looks at this site, what islands would you combine?
One of my post started with, IF YOU COULD PLAN YOUR OWN CRUISE... Forget that, lets get Carnival to change the ports to what we want to go to in the future. Let's show the newcomers a good time from our past cruises. LETS BLOW THE FUTURE CRUISES AWAY, even if they're just taking their first cruise!!!
My favorite plausible itinerary is the Southern Caribbean. Antigua and St Kitts are tops in my book. San Juan has much appeal due to the history of Old San Juan and the nearby rainforest El Yunque.
A 7 day out Florida going to those 3 islands would sound enticing.
PAST TRIPS= Enchanted Capri
Carnival: Inspiration, Legend, Valor, Destiny, Holiday, Triumph, Splendor, Fantasy
HAL: Maasdam twice, Statendam, Oosterdam
I love to cruise ( Platinum ) but I hate to fly. I can drive to Galveston / Houston in about 10 hours, or Mobile in a little more.
My problem is Cozumel, Montego bay, and Progresso. They were nice the first few times, but now I don't care to even get off the ship.
WHY NOT Key West, Belize, Roatan, or Tampa Bay, along with Grand Cayman. The truth is, we'll probably just stay in Galveston or South Padre for a week next year instead of cruising to Cozumel and Jamaica.
Mardi Gras 1986 / 1987, Emerald Seas 1988, Jubilee 1989 / 2002, Sunward II 1991, Sea Breeze 1993, Seaward 1995, Celebration 1998, Norwegian Sea 2000, Destiny 2002 /2008, Rhapsody OS 2003, Conquest 2004 / 2005 / 2008, Radiance OS 2004, Pride Of America 2006, Triumph 2007 / 2012 (x2), Grandeur OS 2008, Holiday 2009, Fantasy 2009, Splendor 2010, Elation 2010, Victory 2011
I prefer Bermuda to the caribbean so I'd like to find out much more about the new cruise I just heard about, but only caught "part' of the conversation. Something about Leaving Baltimore, heading to Bermuda and then onto Florida Keys, then back to Balitmore. This would be a cruise made in heaven to me.
Anyone know what line is running this new itinerary next year????
I doubt that any ship could get to the southern Caribbean and back in 7 days. If they ever do, I'll be on it. Not crazy about Dutch Antilles, but love any and all of the rest. We take HAL for those.
I would love to SKIP Cayman and Cozumel. They are both just so crowded that I have a hard time enjoying myself. Give me the private island, Belize, Roatan, Costa Maya, even Jamaica.
well, i dont know if they would do it, but why cant galveston cruises cruise to florida/bahamas/ and other eastern caribbean ports?
I know i could fly or drive to florida, but we just cant afford to fly, its actually cheaper to cruise to italy than fly lol.
Seriously, i wish each port had more variety, like every other cruise cruise a different path.
I thought they were doing that with conquest in galveston, but either they pulled the plug or they are so popular that they are sold out into next year!
I think they start the eastern from Galveston in February.
