Default PULL DOWN BEDS

We just booked a cruise with family .. one of our rooms have a pull down bed....are they fairly comfortable?

yes they are we done a cabin for 5 cruises straight that had the upper beds. they are comfortable just as the lower beds. but whoever has the upper beds really dont need to be too tall because they cant sit straight up without hitting their head and the ladder they have to climb down is fairly narrow. i say a teenager would be fine up there thats what we done but then my sister got taller than everyone but my dad so it didnt work out so well anymore

Yeah the upper beds are comfortable, but it would be hard for a taller person.

My first cruise was in a single bed with one upper. I had a double bed at home and I was not what you would call thin. I found it to be a bit confining cuz I like to spread out in bed, and that bed didn't allow it.

The upper berths have a weight limit, so if whomever is going to be sleeping there is under 250lbs, then all is well. Anyone who is tall wouldn't like it up there either, especially when your feet stick out the end....

The person under the pulldown has to be careful also..if they are taller. Getting out of the bed in the middle of the night can result in a bumped head if you are not careful.
