Default Refrigeration/small cooler

Is there a mini fridge in the room? we are sailing on the Glory and I have looked high and low, cannot find anywhere that it specifies?

Also, I cannot find it again but I thought I saw that it said you could bring a SMALL cooler on board. I like to have one for taking to shore, for taking to the pool etc. I like water bottles, I hate carrying around a glass of water on deck.

All Conquest-class ships [and Glory is one] have a mini-fridge in each cabin. Cooler size about 12x12

Yes all Spirit Class, and Conquest class ships have Fridges.

I am not sure if the Destiny/ Triumph classes have them.

Well it doesn't matter for you because the Glory is a Conquest class ship.

Just a heads up on the mini fridge. If your going to use it, have the room steward take out all of the contents. you don't want to be charged for that. Also.. they don't hold much. Its like a dorm mini fridge.

Maybe 4-5 cubic feet. Kinda small if you were buying 3 gallons of milk. But big enough for meds/snacks/some beverages

It should be big enough for what you need it for. I always take all the other stuff out so I have more room.

Carnival's website has luggage restrictions re coolers:
LARGE COOLERS RESTRICTION:
Carnival Cruise Lines does not allow guests to bring large coolers on board its vessels. Small, personal-sized coolers no larger than 12” x 12” x 12” for the purpose of housing small quantities of non-alcoholic beverages and/or medications are permitted as carry-on luggage. Screening and movement of large coolers through embarkation is an impediment to the boarding and security screening process and therefore large coolers are not permitted as carry-on or checked luggage.

In 2006 we did take a soft side rolling cooler to keep on our balcony for canned drinks and to take into port. Taking it into port was not a good idea. Last April my daughter brought a rolling cooler that barely exceeded the 12x12x12 restriction and was not allowed to bring it on-board.
