Valor (or Conquest class) cabin question

Has anyone stayed in the balcony cabins on the Panoramic deck on the Carnival Valor - or any of the other Conquest class ships? If so, any comments on the cabin: size, location, motion etc...

from what I can find this looks like an awesome room -

I'm not sure if I have stayed on that deck, but I have sailed on a lot of Carnival ships and most Carnival cabins on the new ships are very similar and I agree, their cabins are pretty awesome.

They are generally spacious and comfortable, with a lot of floor space, a big comfortable bed and a nice seating area.

I haven't stayed in that cabin, but I have stayed in other balcony cabins. I have never had a bad room. The room and bathroom is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and there is a desk and seating area.

Since you will be high up, you should have a very nice view.

So if I were you, I would go for that room.

I had a panorama cabin on the Triumph, which is a pinch smaller than the Conquest class ships. That deck was a sweet deck to have a cabin on. I did enjoy myself. I had cabin 1066, which is the last cabin on Port side. I was so close to the elevators and door to Panorama deck it was awesome!!!!

Go for it, but a better deck to have is Lido because you don't have to ho up or down to get to your cabin, just walk through that deck and you are there!!!

thanks.... we booked a balcony guarantee; hoping for an upgrade as they cancelled our Miracle cruise so we had to scramble to book another cruise; generally I don't like the very front of the ship. The cabin is the first one on the starboard side. But I think I am gonna love this cabin; the only second time I have had a balcony.

Thank you everyone for the information. These cabins are going to be great. We have to make sure we ask the steward to open up the close off between our cabins.

Also, they almost replaced St. Maarten and St. Kitts with San Juan and St. Thomas. I heard they changed the entire itinerary for the previous voyage due to the ongoing problem.

Bob - CruiserEK is correct; they cancelled it (after final payment); our cruise was during the last two weeks of that particular iteniary so they pulled the last two weeks for drydock. Which after reading about all the changes etc from Miracle cruisers, I am glad they cancelled and we got rescheduled on a similar cruise; just a way bigger ship.

Bob: DTW was invited but it is too close in time to when he takes his boys on spring break; DTW's kids come first! Good Dad!

Your's and dina's cabin are the worst ever!

You should try to find one on the lowest deck possible! Maybe somehere close to the anchor.

Just got back last night from the Conquest cruise. I agree with the Lido deck. We had a balcony room close to the elevators. It was quiet, roomy, close to the pool. There were no rooms across from us.
We let Carnival assign our room and one of us were platinum due to 10 or more sailings. This room was great. Hope you get it.
