Deck 6 Carnival Freedom
 

Recently booked room 6228 on Freedom for the 7/18/2009 sailing. I noticed the deck below has some bars and the theater. I was wondering if anyone has been on this deck and could advise if noise is a problem.

I had Cabin 6276 on the Valor (same layout as the Freedom). My door was a few steps away from the glass elevators. I was above the portside gift shop and I heard not a peep at night. Your cabin will be over the theater or the area right outside the theater. Unless you plan on going to bed at 10pm at night, then there should be no problem. The late seating show is at 10:30pm, so it will all be over at 11:30. As for what you will hear, I can't tell you, but I can say that my cabin, because it was right outside the elevator banks, I could hear the live music in the lobby three decks below. I did not mind, she had a good voice and most of the time I was in bed well after 11pm at night..
