Default Rooms under the pool deck

Alright WELL I just noticed that our aft balcony room on the Verandah deck of the Liberty is right under the pool part of the lido deck.
We're in the very back of the boat on Starboard side. Literally like 3 or 4 rooms from the aft of the boat.

Is this room going to be super noisy? Should I try and call them to see if I can get another room. I just don't want to be woken up at 6AM every morning to people walking around. I doubt there will be any problems, I'm just curious.

Not sure about your room. But we stayed right below the Lido Deck on Enchanment a few years ago and there was no problem. Not even durring the middle of the day. So I would think that you should be fine.

Upside is you will be awake in time for breakfast or going ashore if you do get woken up. Down side.......just hope the pool doesn't start leaking or you may have people knocking at your door to go swimming.....lol. I honestly wouldn't worry about it since you have about 2-3 feet of steel between each floor at minimum.

If you are a light sleeper it might be a problem. It sounds like you are more or leas below the little tables between the bar and the pizzaria. You might have some early morning breakfast folks shuffling chairs about. Not likely to be much running or jumping there.

We had similar cabins on Liberty's sister Glory and it didn't bother me a bit. I did hear the occasional chair drag though.

Thanks! You guys on here are so nice and helpful. Unlike other boards where the response would usually be
"What do you think? Of course it'll be noisy you idiot, that's what you get for booking a room under the pool!"

But yeah I forgot theres actually STEEL in between decks of a boat.

Well, you know, they do have to support the decks of a ship somehow, not to point out the obvious or be a smartass.

Seems to me if you directly under the pool it would be quiet as the water would tend to muffle the noise.

Well talk about a wet dream if it does leak. You could just sleep with your orange vest on..

I don't think there are any rooms "directly" under the pools, but would have to check my deck plans very carefully. Under spas maybe but not pools.

HI...

I agree w/Green RD. You might hear some chairs moved around.
We had a balcony cabin in that location on the Destiny. It was NOT
a big issue.

No need to worry a lot about it.

Enjoy!

LoL @ sleeping with the orange vests on.
Yeah the room isn't directly under the POOL just the pool deck, we're actually under the seating area for the outside lido grille.

We were on the Triumph this time last year and our room was under the Lido deck. there was a lot of noise from the deck lounge chairs being moved around by what I believe was the staff since it was mostly around 2am. Still had a great time.

We had a room right under the lido deck this last Feb. on the triumph and the only time we heard chairs being moved around was about 9pm. They clean the deck early there so they don't bother people who are trying to sleep. We never heard them in the morning though because they didn't stack the chairs back there, they just move them in the evening to clean and then put them right back.

As fireball mentions they crew puts deck chairs away early and ties them down. If you heard chairs at 2am it was from other pax. My son stopped some bored teenagers from throwing chairs overboard on the Glory a few years ago.
