Default Cabin near galley

Hi,
I will be travelling as a single. I wanted the least expensive cabin due to the single rate. I believe I got a good deal price wise but not so sure of the cabin location. I was told it was the last cabin for that price. I will be on the Carnival Miracle. I am on the lowest deck on the same level as the GALLEY! The cabin # is 1249. Should I bring ear plugs?

Do not know about that particular cabin but the loudest thing on my 2007 Miracle cruise was my roomates snoring

I wouldn't worry about it at all. 1249 is on the opposite side of the ship from the dance club, and that's where I have noticed noise in the past, but on your side of the ship I think you'll do GREAT. No problems.

I agree with Ken. I don't think the galley would be a problem as you're not under it--that's where the galley noise comes in.
And besides, if you get hungry late at night, just think how close you are to the kitchen !!

Default Will let you know...

Hi, I'm in the same "boat", except on the Spirit, where i got a good price on a single cabin near the galley...I'm sailing next week, so i will let you know. I think ear plugs are a good back-up plan anyway, even if I don't have to use them. My strategy is to get so tired that i will be able to sleep through anything!
