Hello everybody. I booked Rm. 7447 on the Splendor leaving 9/20/09 and was wondering if any of you have ever had one of these rooms. They look great and the wraparound balcony was a major selling point. Anyway, I'd love to hear your feedback on what we can expect from this room. Thanks.

I had 8448 on the Splendor which is one deck above the room you have. The room was very nice with sort of an unusual shape that made it seem quite large although it probably was not much larger than normal. The 9A also has an extra window. The balcony is huge in length although not much wider than normal. The only downside was it gets the full sun because there is very little overhang unlike the center aft cabins. That may not be an issue with the Empress Deck cabins. We were well pleased with the cabin. 8)

We did a cabin crawl on my Freedom Cruise last night and I saw my first 9A balcony. I now have balcony envy. Seriously cool, large, balcony you will love it.

O 8) ur 9A balcony was around 51 ft long and 8 ft wide. It did have the WOW factor when we first saw it. 4 chairs, 2 tables, 2 loungers. 8)
