Default Silly question - room noise and AC unit??

Ok--- yes, I am one of those freaks that have to have "noise" while I sleep. At home, I sleep with the c. fan on and a floor fan - even in the winter. So my question is - how are the a/c units set up in each room? is it like a hotel unit? can you hear it running? Or should I take my fan or noise maker with me?

Thanks in advance!!

take a fan. You never hear the AC in the cabins.

It's not the hotel type that sits under the window. You have an individual control but the air is pumped in. So like trip said if you need that hum, bring something along.

I ran across a combination travel clock and sound machine at Radio Shack for $15.00. It runs on batteries.

I have had it for over a year and the batteries have not run out yet.
I use it every night.

Very nice....

I am very sensitive to sounds so I also use ear plugs!

HAHA! Cute...

I am actually hoping to drink enough each night - I won't have to worry about noise. But.. just wanted to ask to be on the safe side.

Thanks everyone! I think I will take my noise machine - it's smaller than my fan. lol

Why not the TV ? It puts me to sleep every night. I actually sleep better with it on, not too loud, just enough to hear it.

People should be glad I no longer have to have music to sleep. My cabin would turn into the the deck's hip-hop club. .

If your cabin is in the front of the ship and on the lower decks you can hear the ship as it hits waves in the sea.
